FREE and Internet Based Marketing are Synomonous

I have been beginning to wonder if the word free has any meaning anymore. Either what you think you can get for free really isn’t or the only way a person would use the product is if it were free.
This is especially true in Internet Based Marketing. Generally what happens is this. You sign up for the Free Product, but once you do you are taken to another page where you are asked to “upgrade” by paying money for the “real” or “complete” product
As anyone knows the word “free” is the best word to use in any advertising promotion. Today however it seems to have lost a little bit of value. I do agree however, that money must be spent to generate any type of profit. But does the Person using Internet based Marketing really give any value for their free product promotions
I specialize in marketing to the home based business industry. To generally be successful, one must have a system in order to funnel leads thru a sales process. There are many systems out there, but many of them are based on just selling an ebook of dubious value, and taking that lead and backending the home business opportunity. This is known as a funded proposal, and though practically every guru out there uses this form of “Indirect Marketing”, it still will cost you a monthly subscription to use the system.
The exception to the rule is The Spider Web Marketing System. What you get for free would cost you hundreds of dollars elsewhere. You can make a good income just using their free system to generate “YOUR” Leads, which you can in turn use to promote “any” program. They do have an upgraded version available, but there is tremendous value in the Free version.
