You can generate backlinks by bookmarking web pages. Socical bookmarking is becoming popular. Social bookmarking systems allow users to save links to web pages that they want to remember or share. These bookmarks are usually public so that other people can usually view these bookmarks chronologically, by category or tags (keywords), or via a search engine. Submitting your site manually with social bookmarking sites like Delicious, Digg and Stumbleupon can help to increase relevant traffic to your web pages. You need to submit a url with a title and main keywordor keyword phrase, short descriptions (best kept to about a hundred characters or so, it can be a bit longer on some sites). Most people rotate a number of titles and descriptions, some even submit from more than one account per site.
